2026 will mark the 7th Annual Kansas City Kansas, Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge for Wyandotte County!
Wyandotte County, 9th - 12th grade students can submit their business and compete in four entrepreneurial categories with the chance of winning cash prizes anywhere between $250 to $2,500.
The four categories businesses can compete in are:
- Formal Presentation
- Executive Summary
- Tradeshow
- Elevator Pitch
Qualifications:
- Students must attend a Wyandotte County High School in order to compete.
- Students must have a mentor/teacher to represent them.
- Businesses cannot be a school based business or family-owned business.
- Students can compete individually or with a team.
Calendario y fechas clave
The event will be happening at Kansas City Kansas Community College, 250 State Ave, Kansas City, KS 66112, in the Jewell Building.
- Thursday, March 5th from 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm
- Thursday will be the Tradeshow Exhibit, Elevator Pitch Competition, and awards for those two events.
- Friday, March 6th from 8:00 am - 1:30 pm
- Friday will be the Executive Summary and Formal Presentation Competition along with awards for those two events and Final Awards for the overall event.
