The Pitch Deck is a concise visual presentation that communicates the core elements of the business, its market opportunity, and its path to scale. The pitch deck should clearly explain what the company does, who it serves, why it wins, and how it plans to grow.

Specific Requirements

  • Must be submitted in PDF format
  • Recommended length: 8-12 slides
  • Clear, readable formatting (no excessive text per slide)
  • All submitted materials must be the original work of the company’s founders and/or mentors
  • Any submission that does not meet these requirements may be disqualified from the Pitch Deck component

Required Content

The submitted Pitch Deck should clearly address the following core aspects of the business:
  • Market Opportunity
    • A clearly defined customer and problem
    • Evidence of a sizeable and scalable market
    • Clear articulation of why this problem matters
  • Product / Service Offering
    • What the company is building or selling
    • How the solution works at a high level
    • Why it is differentiated from existing alternatives
  • Business Model
    • How the company makes (or plans to make) money
    • Go-to-market strategy and customer acquisition approach
    • A credible plan to build a profitable, scalable business
  • Traction & Validation
    • Early customers, pilots, revenue, partnerships, usage, or traction indicators ie. LOI's, prospective customer conversations
    • Evidence that the solution resonates with the market
  • Team & Management Capability
    • Founding team and key contributors
    • Relevant experience, domain knowledge, and execution ability


Judging Criteria

Pitch decks will be evaluated using a standardized rubric that emphasizes:
  • Clarity and coherence of the story
  • Strength of the market opportunity
  • Differentiation and defensibility
  • Evidence of execution and traction
  • Team capability and readiness to scale
