Wichita Urban Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge 2026

 

Welcome to the 9th Annual Wichita Urban Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge! 

Students will first submit their executive summaries for online judging. Then, they’ll pitch their businesses trade-show style to local judges during our in-person showcase. From there, the top six finalists will advance to deliver their formal presentations to our panel of final judges.

4. Submit your slides for the finals round

December 12, 2025: Competition Opens
February 27, 2026: Executive Summary and Video Pitch due

March 6, 2026: Trade Show and Finals Competition takes place 
Location: John Bardo Center at Wichita State University
1815 Innovation Blvd, Wichita, KS 67208

8:00 AM – Doors open for set-up at the John Bardo Center at WSU

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Judges and guests will visit each table

12:00 PM – Lunch (provided)

1:00 PM – The Top 6 teams will be announced and transition upstairs to deliver their final presentations

2:30 PM – Winners announced


Submissions to this competition authorize Destination Innovation, Inc. and NetWork Kansas to take, edit, copy, exhibit, and publish videos for any lawful purposes.  All videos submitted may be put on social media.

All materials must be uploaded in order for registration to be considered complete. Winners must provide their W-9 form signed by a parent/guardian (if under 18) before prize money can be disbursed.
