Description

Students develop and showcase their entrepreneurial ideas through written business summaries, elevator pitches, and a tradeshow-style presentation, competing for cash prizes. Local entrepreneurs, educators, and community leaders serve as judges, offering feedback and encouragement. The competition helps students grow as young entrepreneurs, building real-world skills in innovation, communication, business planning, and problem-solving while inspiring them to think like future business leaders. 

Schedule and key dates

On the day of the competition, students should plan to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. to set up their displays and get settled in. The Tradeshow will be open to judges and the public from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., during which judging will take place. From 12:00 to 12:30 p.m., judges will finalize scoring while lunch is provided for participants and judges. The awards ceremony will begin at 12:30 p.m., celebrating the hard work and creativity of all student entrepreneurs.
