Description
The Formal Presentation is a four-minute presentation where each business will share details of its product or service with a panel of judges.
Guidelines & information
  • A maximum of four minutes will be allowed for each business presentation.
  • Timing begins when the presenter begins speaking.
  • Team entries should have some participation from all members 
  • Immediately following the presentation, judges will ask questions.
  • Others in attendance are not permitted to ask questions or to comment.
  • Entrepreneurs must give the presentation live and in person.
  • Entrepreneurs are permitted to utilize handouts and other visual aids. (No Media)

Rubric

Performance-Appearance, confidence, posture, speaks at an appropriate speed and volume
Presentation- Clear, concise and east to follow (understandable)
Expectations- State goals of business, captures attention, persuasive, realistic
Quality- There is a clear plan for the business with a realistic timeframe and outcomes.
Marketing- There is a sizeable market for this business and a plan to capture the market.
