The Elevator Pitch is a short pitch of an entrepreneur's business to a panel of judges. The goal of an elevator pitch should be to provide an overview of the business and to leave the audience excited to learn more.
Guidelines & information
  • The Elevator Pitch should be a sales pitch video about your business and should get the judges excited about your product or service.
  • Each speaker will receive one minute to enter and introduce themselves. If it is a team entry, the introduction would still be one minute total for an introduction.
  • A maximum of 2 minutes will be allowed for the elevator pitch; time begins immediately after the speaker's self introduction.

Rubric

Performance: Appearance, confidence, posture, speaks slowly.
Presentation: Clear, concise, understandable.
Expectations: States goals of business, captures attention, persuasive, realistic.
Quality: Includes all necessary points, makes plan clear, appropriate time length.
