Guidelines & information
  • Each speaker will record themselves giving a one minute pitch to introduce their company.
  • Judges are not permitted to ask questions following the elevator pitch.
  • No slides or handouts are permitted.

Rubric

Strength of the 1-Minute Pitch: Is the problem clearly articulated? Is the solution easy to understand? Is the presenter confident and compelling?
Strength of Innovation: Is the product or service unique or differentiated? Is there a clear competitive advantage?
Market Potential: Is there a large and/or growing market opportunity? Does the team demonstrate an understanding of their customer and market?
Overall Impression: Would you be excited to see this company advance to the next round? Is it memorable compared to other pitches?
