Cowley County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge

The Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC) is an exciting opportunity for middle school and high school students to explore entrepreneurship, develop real-world business skills, and bring their ideas to life.

Students work individually or in teams to create a business concept, build a simple business plan, and prepare a short pitch. Participants will learn about problem-solving, budgeting, marketing, and presentation skills while gaining confidence in their ability to think creatively and strategically.

Finalists will present their business ideas to a panel of local business leaders and community judges. Winners advance to the regional and state-level competitions, where they compete for cash prizes and scholarships.
