Description

The Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC) is a day-long challenge where Wyandotte County 9th - 12th grade high school students have the opportunity to compete in four business related categories and the top three competitors win cash prizes! The goal of YEC is to expose students to entrepreneurship and build their interest in it, leading students to see building their own business as a viable career path and a way to better their community.

Wednesday, January 15th —------- Teachers are sent the YEC Information Packet
Wednesday, January 22nd —-------Teachers are sent the Mentor sign up link
Friday, January 24th —--------------- Teachers are sent the student sign up link
Friday , February 7th —-------------- Last Day for schools/students to register
Friday February 28th —-------------- Last Day for ‘Businesses” to sign up
