Anderson County YEC

Students prepare business plans, elevator speeches, and formal presentations to compete for cash prizes. Local entrepreneurs, teachers, and community leaders judge the students' work. The competition encourages skills of thinking outside the box. 

Day of the competition, participants should plan to arrive between 8-8:30am to set up for the competition beginning at 9:00am. The general public will be allowed to enter and view 9:00-12:00. Judging will take place throughout this time. The scores will be tallied between 12:00-12:30, while lunch is served to the participants and judges. Awards will be announced at 12:30. 12:30-1:30 will be open for classes to visit and view, if desired.
