Description
The competition will take place in person at the Peaslee Technical Center. Middle/junior high, and high school age students that reside in Douglas County are eligible to apply. Students should submit a business plan as part of their application which will be utilized by judges in preparation for the competition.
Schedule and key dates
Applications are due January 24th.
On February 7th, the schedule will be as follows:
8:00 am-8:30 am
8:30 - Instructions to students
9:00 - Trade show opens, elevator pitch and formal presentations begin.
11:30-12:00 - Announcement of winners
Prizes:
o First Place - $1,250
o Second Place - $1,000
o Third Place - $500
o People’s Choice - $250
o First Place Teacher - $250
