Elk County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC)

Join us for the 2024 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge! Any student 9th grade thru 12th grade is welcome to participate. Each participant is required to submit an Executive Summary (template provided), give a Formal Presentation, and setup a Trade Show Exhibit.

Executive Summary must be submitted by for judging.  Formal Presentations will be given beginning at 9:00 am on Wednesday, Feb. 28th. Students/teams can set up their display for the Trade Show beginning at 8:30 am.

Students should arrive at or before 8:30 am.  

The first-place winner earns an automatic entry into the state competition. Anyone is also invited to submit for a wildcard slot at state as well. Here are those ongoing deadlines:

March 19, 2024: Wildcard Entries for KEC State Championship Due 

March 19, 2024: Deadline for YEC Winners to enter to attend KEC State Championship

March 26, 2024: Wildcard Winners Announced

April 16, 2024: KEC State Championship (Manhattan)
